Fun times with Grandparents

We sure love having Granparents around! Travis' parents have been here since Tuesday evening and my dad had a business trip to Austin and was able to come down for the weekend. Cooper has LOVED all the extra attention, and it sure has been nice having everyone want to do things for me. Thank you Thank you! We will miss you when you all leave.

Finally!

Cooper's bedroom set finally made it here! I ordered it back in July and it was delivered Tuesday night. A big thanks to Grandpa and Travis for putting it together and moving all the furniture around. Cooper thinks of it as his pirate ship, and I love it! It is just as I imagined it would be. We now can fit 3 people in his room (bunk bed + trundle) so if anyone wants to visit there is lots of room!
my neighbor Julie gave us this darling blanket with Liam's name on it! I love it, the colors are so cute together. Thank you Julie!

Safe to Say...

Cooper is officially potty trained #1 and #2. After our potty party he was trained with #1, but it took us a little while to get #2 down. Oh, the sweet relief. The turning point I believe was when we made him clean out his underwear after another poop accident.

The picture of Liam is just because I couldn't help myself. He was looking so dang cute today I just had to throw it in.

I am all by myself

Not really, I have Cooper here, and Travis and Liam, but without my mom it seems a little empty. It was WONDERFUL having her here, not just because she cooked me meals and brought me water and read stories to Cooper , and did my laundry and dishes but because it felt so normal. It was great. Thanks Mom for taking care of me and my family. We appreciate it more than words can tell. Cooper is already asking, "where is my grandma?" Thank you, thank you! Thank you also to my family back home who sacrificed so that I can have my mom take care of me.

Also- THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all of those who have done so much for me and my family while I am recovering. We appreciate it so much!

One Week Old

Only if my sister was here, she could be my personal photographer for all our firsts. Come on Linds I know you want to. So I apologize for our crappy picture taking skills and old camera. I think Travis' Iphone takes better pictures.

So far everthing is well here, Liam and Cooper do very well together. Liam just sleeps all the time except for the hours between 10 p.m.-1:30 a.m. But he is so cute it is ok. How can he be a week old already it seems like I just left the hospital. Well I guess I didn't get home from the hospital until Thursday, but a week. Time goes too fast. His face is already starting to chub out too.

One sweet baby

As most of you know already, Liam was born Monday Sept. 29, at 6:02 p.m. It was a complete surprise because he was 3 1/2 weeks early! My water broke at 3 a.m. and we went to the hospital around 8:30 a.m. I attempted to do a v-back (a vaginal birth after a c-section) but it wasn't meant to be. I only dilated to a 2 by 5 that evening. Thankfully Heavenly Father knows what is best for me, and we went ahead and did the c-section. When they got in there they found that my Uterus had already started to rupture and Liam's hair was sticking out of a small hole. I feel so blessed that we are all well, and Liam was safe. The doctor said things could have been disasterous and it was a miracle that we are safe and well. Anyway more later- this is the last thing I should be doing right now, I should be laying down. I will have Travis post more pictures later.
