Where to begin...On the 23rd of December Liam seemed like he had a little cold, so knowing it was getting close to Christmas and it may be hard to get an appointment I called and got him one. So, after the doctor saw him, she seemed VERY alarmed. She said he was getting tired of breathing (what!), and we needed to go right now to Driscoll Children's hospital (I am trying to hold it together while I call Travis at work). So we head on down to the hospital where he is admitted (no emergency room for us) and spent the rest of the 23rd and most of Christmas Eve in the hospital. My poor baby. I had planned many wonderful things for Christmas Eve, trying to make it special since we were going to be here all alone. Finally, they let us go home, around 7 p.m. and all of our plans were pretty much a wash. I was disappointed for Cooper and disappointed for us, but then I realized what the most important thing about Christmas was, and that was the Saviour, and being together as a family. It didn't matter that we didn't read the Christmas story or ate a warm dinner, or make gingerbread houses. We were together as a family, maybe tired and frazzled but together. I am grateful for our little boys, may Liam get well soon! He is still fighting it, and we are having to do breathing treatments at home a whole week later. Poor baby.
Hopefully sooner than later can post our Christmas pictures.

Silly, Silly Taryn
I was at the commissary today (for those non-military people that means grocery store on base) and I was looking at the hams for Christmas. They were all huge and about $25.00 and I thought to myself that is way too much I will look somewhere else. So, on my way home I stopped by honey baked ham and thought I will just look and see. So, after getting the kids out of the car and dragging in the car seat, and the nice lady helping me I felt committed. Short story long I walked out with a small $40.00 ham. I have no defense for myself.

A little nibble
Serioulsy So Blessed
My package smelt yummy like mints! Always she thinks of all the details!
A little sampling of her beautiful work! Mandie made all these for Liam's book. You put me to shame for i have not made a single one! I am always amazed with what you can create!
Cooper with his girl Emma- He doesn't understand that she moved away. He has a serious love for this sassy girl.
I had been feeling a little down these last couple days, I have come to realize about myself that I am a people person. There is nothing more important to me than relationships. So, when someone moves or leaves it makes me a little sad. It is always hardest being the one who gets left behind. I am getting used to it and all since we move every few years. Although, seeing friends leave never is easy. I will miss seeing you Tynel, but don't think that gets you out of talking to me on the phone.
So with all that being said, I just want to say a big thank you to all those who have done so much to make me feel so blessed!
Thank you Shawna for going to lunch with me today, I love spending time with you. Thank you Sue for the very sweet email that made all the difference. THANK YOU MANDIE- you are so sweet and talented. I don't know anyone else who would make almost a whole scrapbook for my new baby. I love you and miss you everyday. THANK YOU THANK YOU! I have such sweet and wonderful friends!

Oh! Christmas Tree!
Yesterday we got home from Church and our Christmas tree was leaning. I thought to myself that it didn't seem like that is supposed to happen. I said to Travis, our tree is leaning, you should fix that. Not 20 minutes later it fell and and shattered my most precious ornament. Which I realize it is just an ornament but I still feel sad.
