We can't wait to trick or treat!

I love this- a sleeping baby!

I ate 2- so good but so bad...

Cooper's Halloween party at preschool

What a fantastic Pirate

Chili- already in the crockpot- I am awesome!

Yummy!

Halloween is one of our favorite holidays! In fact it is Travis' favorite, but I like Christmas a little better. We have several Halloween must have's. First we must have doughnuts, and apple cider. Second, we must have Chili and bread sticks for dinner. If it was a little cooler here that would be even better, but we just pretend that it is going to be a chilly Halloween evening and happily eat our chili. Third, we must watch a scary movie. I do this against my will because I HATE scary movies. I make every attempt to see if Travis will forget this part of our traditions, but he never does, he hasn't said anything so far this year so maybe I will luck out. Even if we did watch that scary movie, I am so tired right now I would probably just fall asleep anyway.

Cooper is pretty excited for tonight, he is so fun right now. Everything is so fun and new and exciting.

Cooper's Pirate Costume! Grandma style

A big thanks to Grandma M for making the rest of Cooper's costume! After caring for me she went home and sewed him a vest and made him some pretty awesome scarves. She also sewed him a trick-or-treat bag and sent him a pirate coloring book. IT sure made his day yesterday! Thanks mom.

For Whitney...

Does Liam look as terrified as he should?

Love this one- took this whit right after you called yesterday
Liam couldn't decide on his pumpkin

Cooper picking out a pumpkin

Look at all my bracelets from the hospital- Fall RISK? What?

Cooper and Liam first time at home together

Just born and only cried a little

He looks like a giant compared to Liam

Coming home from the hospital

My sister Whitney said that there wasn't enough pictures of Liam. I apologize Whit..He is so cute I can't blame you. Some of the pictures were taken with Trav's Iphone so some are better than others...

Fun times with Grandparents

We sure love having Granparents around! Travis' parents have been here since Tuesday evening and my dad had a business trip to Austin and was able to come down for the weekend. Cooper has LOVED all the extra attention, and it sure has been nice having everyone want to do things for me. Thank you Thank you! We will miss you when you all leave.

Finally!

Cooper's bedroom set finally made it here! I ordered it back in July and it was delivered Tuesday night. A big thanks to Grandpa and Travis for putting it together and moving all the furniture around. Cooper thinks of it as his pirate ship, and I love it! It is just as I imagined it would be. We now can fit 3 people in his room (bunk bed + trundle) so if anyone wants to visit there is lots of room!
my neighbor Julie gave us this darling blanket with Liam's name on it! I love it, the colors are so cute together. Thank you Julie!

Safe to Say...

Cooper is officially potty trained #1 and #2. After our potty party he was trained with #1, but it took us a little while to get #2 down. Oh, the sweet relief. The turning point I believe was when we made him clean out his underwear after another poop accident.

The picture of Liam is just because I couldn't help myself. He was looking so dang cute today I just had to throw it in.

I am all by myself

Not really, I have Cooper here, and Travis and Liam, but without my mom it seems a little empty. It was WONDERFUL having her here, not just because she cooked me meals and brought me water and read stories to Cooper , and did my laundry and dishes but because it felt so normal. It was great. Thanks Mom for taking care of me and my family. We appreciate it more than words can tell. Cooper is already asking, "where is my grandma?" Thank you, thank you! Thank you also to my family back home who sacrificed so that I can have my mom take care of me.

Also- THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all of those who have done so much for me and my family while I am recovering. We appreciate it so much!
