I think there is somethin in my nose....

This is what Cooper said last night to me, "Mom, I think that there is somethin in my nose." I just assumed he was talking about some boogies. "Mom, I think there is somethin in my nose and it hurts a little." Well, what do you think is up there, "A french fry". We had a heck of time getting that french fry out. All night I laughed to myself.

Daddy Daddy

My Daddy Daddy is the greatest man I have ever known. six years ago in January he had a stroke, I clearly remember the last time before that I spent with him. We had come home for Christmas and we went to Dinner at the Mandarin in Bountiful for my birthday and Grandma and Daddy Daddy came as well. At dinner he kept telling Travis he should do something besides flying because flying is dangerous. On the way out he told me he loved me, and that he would miss us, and I told him we would see him next time. 3 weeks later he had his stroke, and I don't think he has remembered me very well since. He is greatest and kindest man I have ever known, he has touched and changed all those who have met him. I aspire to be like him, and if I can be just one bit of what he is, I think I will have done pretty good. I love you Daddy Daddy! My cousin Kaitlin has made a video of him for her BYU school project, it is posted on facebook, check it out if you have a chance. It is beautiful!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

St. Patricks Cathedral

Blarney Castle (we did kiss the blarney stone)

We drove by this castle ruin and it was called McDermott Castle (that is my maiden name and well we had to take a picture)

4 years ago on St. Patty's day Travis and I flew to Ireland. It was the most amazing trip of my life (so far). I had always dreamed of going to Ireland and seeing where my family is from, it was awesome! So to all those fellow Irish and all those who wish they could be Irish:) Happy St. Patricks Day!

Tuckered Out

Liam took a little nap while I was making dinner.
He sleeps like his mommy- half tummy half side

We are all a little tuckered out. We had a little bit of a stressful weekend with Travis gone (teething, grumpiness and a mommy who needed some alone time), Liam pretty much embodied how we all felt this afternoon. I do very much, so very much appreciate those who were great friends and helped me out in this department (camp family-Jake watched Cooper so I could attend Jocilyn's baby shower-you are awesome, thank you thank you thank you) and katie of course. Katie never reads my blog, but dear Katie I would be so sad without you.

So maybe i went a little crazy...

I made a big mess!
so, maybe not a little trim, but it feels much better!

Do you like my expression, it is blue steele from Zoolander!

The Tools of the trade.

So, it all started with painting my toenails. I first had to chip off that stuff from Christmas (yes Christmas!) and then I felt inspired to keep going. So after kids are in bed I decide I would color my hair, I bought the stuff ages ago, but I am a little lazy about coloring my own hair. Then i liked it so much I thought I would give myself a trim. I did just get my hair cut last week, but I decided I didn't like it, and thought I could do much better. So here is the mess I made. And I ended up cutting like 2 inches off at least, but it feels much better than the so called haircut from the salon.
