ahh!!!!! Goldwell and KMS
I just have to quickly write how EXCITED I am that the local beauty supply store has seen the light. They have decided to carry my favorite brand of hair care color and products. I just need some hair to be colored and I am ready to go!

Gluten Free +5/Gluten- Free Creations
I feel like I am waging a war on my body. I tuesday I decided I had enough, I am tired of the migraines, I am tired of feeling tired, I am tired of my stomach feeling well, you know. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I watched Opera and it was on smokers and finding the tools to quit. AHH HAA! {light bulb} I am like a smoker, but with gluten. I think that maybe the last 2 years I have just felt sorry for myself over my diagnosis, and instead of making the life change that I needed I just wallowed in my self pity of no more cookies, and bread and cake.
So, here I am gluten free for almost five days. Today is the first day I really craved something glutenous. So far so good, the only mishap was when I was taking the sacrament and I had forgotten about the bread. I took the sacrament and I am just praying that God will help me through that part.
Also, I have to just say that I love the outback. What a wonderful establishment they have. They are really one of the rare restaurants that carry a gluten free menu around here. I am so glad that they care enough to have one.

Olive Fingers
I can't remember the first time I ever did this, but I remember doing it a lot when I was little. It seemed like olive fingers were the best way to eat olives. I don't think there is another way as long as they can fit into those little holes. This was taken last Sunday, Cooper loved his olive fingers I am glad we were able to capture his first olive finger moment. Another moment I wish I had a picture of was of Cooper eating a stick of butter. This week as I am trying to get ready for preschool at our house Cooper got into the freezer opened up a box and unwrapped a stick of butter. He was happy chomping away when I found the grease monkey. He kept saying "mmmm mommy yummy, yummy." I had a hard time not laughing when he kept saying yummy. Also, Cooper had his 2 year old appointment this week. He is just shy of 36 inches tall (79th %) and he weighed 32 lbs (92nd%) and his head is 20 inches (92nd %). Cooper can ride the little kid rides at Six Flags this summer! Yeah!
Ins and outs of Everyday
I was thinking that I should post something new but I haven't had anything great or different happen to me lately so I wasn't sure what I would post. Most of our days are filled with the regular stuff that happens to regular people. I fill my days with Cooper, the gym, doing hair, running errands and the Young Womens Program. In between all that I try to squeeze in cleaning my house and making dinner, reading and talking to friends. I think I could do better being a better friend. I know I could do better at keeping a better house. After church today I had a lot on my mind about following Christ. I know I could do a better job following Christ and teaching Cooper to follow him as well. Sometimes I feel like I a am doing fine and I just go about all my day to day stuff, and then I take a good look and feel like I have let things slip. So here I am, ready for a good spiritual house cleaning. I have needed one for awhile. Sorry for the ramblings, I guess I am just putting todays thougths on virtual paper, it seems to help sort things out for me.

Let's Monkey Around
It was jungle fever for Cooper's birthday! Cooper had a great day. He had a monkey cake (which I am very proud of, actually), mini jungle burgers (i forgot to take a picture but they were a much tastier version of white castle with no holes cut out of the burger), chimp chips, monkey bread, viney veggies, and river water. We played one game, hot monkey (instead of hot potatoe), where of course everyone wins. Cooper loved having his friends that seem like family. It was to me, like having all your cousins over. We missed our real family, but this was a great subsitute. Happy Birthday Cooper, I can hardly believe my baby is 2.

I can SEE
Yesterday was a big day for me, I got LASIK. It was pretty amazing to wake up this morning and be able to see without contacts or glasses. Travis is such a great husband to give this to me, and he took care of Cooper all day yesterday with a little help from Tynel (thanks Tynel). I feel so blessed. Here are some fun things I saw today with my very own eyes!
